The Taiwanese Market: All Kansai Business Meeting

ALL KANSAI Business Meeting was held in three cities in major cities of Taiwan

The second “ALL KANSAI Business Meeting” was held in three cities in Taiwan (Taipei, Taichung and Kaohsiung).
From the 1st through 5th of September, 103 participants from 83 organizations, including hotels, tourism companies and railway companies from ten prefectures in the Kansai region, visited Taiwan. They held meetings with the local travel agents in Taipei, Taichung and Kaohsiung. Reflecting Taiwan's keen interest in Japan and Kansai, the total number of the participants from Taiwan reached 350 from 180 companies, which significantly exceeded last year's participants. The meeting became so active that it took much longer than expected to finish the meetings at each city. In each booth, not only were promotions conducted, but also reservations and contracts were often made.

While staying in each city, the participants from the prefecture governments and companies visited the local travel agents for follow-up meetings. Sometimes we found our participants talking to each other about their further cooperation for inbound business.
The Foundation will continue to conduct promotional activities that will satisfy the needs of the Taiwanese market.
