The Chinese Market: Fam Trip for Travel Agencies

The Foundation invited Chinese travel agents in charge of incentive tours to a familiarization trip

   Chinese companies have been increasing the number of incentive tours. Aiming to invite these tours to the Kansai region, the Foundation for Kansai Region Promotion invited Chinese travel agents who are in charge of incentive tours to a familiarization trip from the 27th to 31st of July.
 In this familiarization trip, we promoted; 1. Various attractions and unique venues, 2. High-quality service with omotenashi, or Japanese hospitality, 3. Activities and support systems for accepting international tourists in local areas. We especially emphasized the third one. We also introduced and explained the details of the attractions which were not included in this tour, with the help from the local governments and convention bureaus.
 Building a close relationship between China and the Kansai region is a key factor for Kansai to be chosen as the destination for the incentive tours. The Foundation will continue to enhance this relationship.
