Street around Jingu, Oharai Machi, got certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor! (Ise, Mie)

  Ise has been one of the famous travelling spots for many years. People visit Ise Jingu, the foremost sacred shrine in the nation, to pray for peace and prosperity. After visiting the shrine, visitors can visit shopping streets right next to the shrine. "Oharai machi"street extends from in front of the Ujibashi Bridge in Ise Jingu (Naiku) along the Isuzugawa river for approximately 800m, and is a place where visitors can find local cuisines on vendors and walk around to shop for locally made goods. This street recently got the certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor in October, 2017. 
 the other street, Okage Yokocho, which spreads out at one corner in Oharai Machi, letting visitors experience the feelings of long-ago travelers visiting Ise. The nation wide famous rice cake"Akafuku Mochi"is must buy!

Access: Take Mie Kotsu bus to「Naiku Mae」from JR・Kintetsu 「Ise-shi」station and get off
