Expo’70 Commemorative Park - Autumn Leaves Festival

Some 10,000 autumn leave trees of about 20 varieties will paint the park in autumn color. There are many viewing points of the autumn leaves such as “Momijidani” and “Momiji-no-Taki” in the park. Other highlights are “Han-an” and “Banri-an,” tea rooms in the Japanese Garden, which will open specially during the festival. You can enjoy delicious sweets and green tea with a view of Karesansui (dry landscape) garden at “Han-an.”
Many events will be held during the autumn leaves festival too!  A mini concert by EXPO artists, Sougou-kadan by Suita City Chrysanthemum Union, and stage performances of Rakugo and Japanese instruments will take place at the Chuo-kyukei-sho of the Japanese Garden.
Please enjoy a healing time with the hospitality of autumn leaves at the EXPO’70 Commemorative Park. Please also note that free admission days in fall this year are Saturday, November 18th and Sunday, 19th.
