Illumi-Night Banpaku Xmas—3D Projection Mapping

Illumi-Night Banpaku Xmas

The dynamic 3D image show displayed on the Tower of the Sun will be held again at Expo ’70 Commemorative Park! This year marks the event’s 5th anniversary with the theme of “Key.” When a door is unlocked with a magical key, a new adventure begins¼ With the symbolic Tower of the Sun used as a screen, the audience can enjoy artworks combining images and music using “Beam Painting,” a state-of-the-art 3D projection mapping technology and sound effects.
Higashioji Street, known for its cherry blossom trees, will be illuminated with Christmas lights. At “Kids land” in the Lower Plaza (Shimo no Hiroba), play equipment for children including inflatable bouncers will be set, and workshops on light will be provided, while in the “Hot Food Court,” visitors can enjoy hot drinks and foods including “class B gourmet” foods and sweets, and bottled beers from around the world.
In addition, “Ramen EXPO 2015 in Expo ’70 Commemorative Park” will be held in Festival Plaza (Omatsuri Hiroba), where ramen, a Japanese noodle soup dish, in various parts of Japan is available during the period of Illumi-Night Banpaku Xmas.
Please visit Expo ’70 Commemorative Park to enjoy an enjoyable winter night out.
