KOBE Pan-no-machi-sanpo event – City Walk for Kobe Bread

Ever since the opening of Kobe Port, the city of Kobe has nurtured a bread lifestyle by bringing in Western technologies. This may be why the volume and amount of bread consumed in Kobe is the highest among major cities in Japan. Now the city will hold the following event to promote Kobe breads nationwide for one month from November 1 to November 30 this year.

1. “City Walk Map for Kobe Bread – KOBE Pan-no-machi-sanpo”
The map, eligible for certain benefits at the participating 43 bread stores in Kobe and available only in Japanese, will be delivered free of charge in various places in Kobe including Information Kobe near the east gate of JR Sannomiya Station.

2. “City Loop Bus for Kobe bread – KOBE Pan-no-machi-sanpo”
The shuttle buses for “City Walk Map for Kobe Bread” will run through all the bread stores in the city. A one-day bus ticket with an original design will also be available.

3. “KOBE PANPO” event
One-bite size bread will be sold at 25 participating stores with a commonly designed paper bag. Enjoy eating Kobe bread as you walk around the city.
