Keihan's Nakanoshima Line to open in fall 2008

Keihan Electric Railway Co. has announced that the underground Nakanoshima Line connecting its Tenmabashi station with Nakanoshima business district in central Osaka will open for service in the fall of 2008.
The company has also unveiled the designs of four new stations along the line. The stations are being built with materials fitting the images of their neighborhood. The Naniwabashi station located near the Nakanoshima Central Public Hall, for example, will have an 8.5-meter-high atrium, with its walls made of ceramics resembling the bricks used for the walls of the hall(Artist's sketch of the Naniwabashi station concourse).
