Hanshin Electric Railway opens international clinic mall in Umeda area of Osaka

Hanshin Electric Railway Co., Ltd. opened the International Medical Square on October 1, a clinic mall that offers medical services in English and Chinese, on the fourth floor of the Herbis Osaka complex located in the Nishi-Umeda area in Osaka. With competent equipment and well-considered services, the new clinic mall provides patient-friendly medical care that meets international standards to non-Japanese residents and the increasing number of overseas tourists, as well as Japanese residents.

Supported by an international medical organization based in Singapore, Raffles Medical Osaka Clinic started operation in the clinic mall, staffed by English- and Chinese-speaking doctors. The mall covers an area of 1,400 m2, comprising seven facilities including clinics and a dispensing pharmacy. They offer a wide range of medical services such as internal medicine; traditional Chinese medicine; dermatology; ear, nose and throat medicine; and eye clinic. Patients can see doctors of all the clinics in the mall with one registration card as in a general hospital. There are also a medical aesthetic salon, mental health care support office, and other health-related facilities. All furnishings and staff uniforms are from Laura Ashley, a UK luxury brand, which contribute to creating an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere.

Located in the convenient Nishi-Umeda area, International Medical Square also services local residents, as well as residents and workers in Osaka’s Umeda area.
