According to the survey (“Foreign Affiliated Companies in Japan, a Comprehensive Directory 2010”) conducted from February to May in 2010 by Toyo Keizai Inc., with regard to the manufacturing industry, machinery and chemicals are to the fore, with electrical-related manufacturers gaining on them remarkably in recent years. As for the commercial category, wholesalers of machinery and electronics are to the fore.
