Fully satisfied with Osaka Minami―Shopping and delicious foods

This is a report from Chen Wenrui, an international student from China, when she visited Osaka Minami in an attempt to discover the attractiveness of the Kansai region.

The nearest station to this area is on the subway, Shinsaibashi Station. When I went out of exit number 5 or 6 and turned right (going south), I was on Shinsaibashi-dori. I bought a freshly baked cheese tart at “PABLO,” a sweets shop located on the right from the second intersection after that exit. Going straight to the south, I found a Kokumin drugstore on the right, and also found a Matsumoto Kiyoshi drugstore on the right corner at the fourth intersection after the Kokumin drugstore. Since the Matsumoto Kiyoshi drugstore had a wide selection of products at reasonable prices, I bought many medicines and cosmetics.

After that, I had lunch, even though it was a little extravagant, at Kani Doraku Crab Restaurant’s main branch, and after visiting other sightseeing spots in Osaka Minami, I enjoyed dinner at Ganko Dotombori-branch on my way home. During my visit to that area, I enjoyed takoyaki, or octopus dumplings, one of Osaka’s local specialties, at Akaoni, a famous takoyaki shop in that area. Those octopus dumplings were very delicious.
