  The search for the decipherment of human genomes is close to the end.In fields of medicine,agriculture, fisheries and industry,technologies to alalyze and recomose genes will be the core technology of the twenty-first century,as well as the direction toward understanding the state of being of life forms from a new point of view.In order to sustain human prosperity,all of mankind is concerned with,for example,global warming as its new comprehensive research subject,which relates to future environmental changes on earth and in the cosmos.These trends are expected to be an accelerating force in the creation of new scientific technology fields, adopting technology innovation in information science,nanoscale material science and new electronics. In the Kansai region the accumulated intelligence in various areas has started to pioneer new scientific fields and up-to-date technology development. Moreover,in Kobe,the RIKEN Center of Developmental Biology (CDB)was founded to explore the secrets of biological function and "National Institute of Biomedical Innovation" was established in 2005 for applying genetic information in medical treatments in the Osaka, Minoh and Ibaraki area.They willundoubtedly expand stimulating "Intelligence Accumulation". |
